Positive Tomorrows

Positive Tomorrows is Oklahoma City’s only school specifically serving homeless children.  We help remove the barriers unique to a homeless child’s left to make learning possible, such as meeting basic needs like food, clothing, school supplies and personal care items.  It is also important to help homeless families make the changes they need to stabilize their lives.

For more information, visit the Positive Tomorrows website at www.PositiveTomorrows.org

Passageway Shelter

The Quilt Show committee has again chosen Passageway Shelter as the charity which will benefit from the raffle quilt ticket sales. Please do your part in raising money for this worthy organization.

The Passageway Shelter is the only shelter in OKC exclusively serving women and children who are the victims of family violence. Passageway is an emergency shelter, providing help in obtaining legal services, transportation, housing information, medical care, child care and advocacy services for up to two months. Clients attend domestic violence education and support groups during their stay.  The Child Advocates offer education and support to help children avoid further victimization, verbalize feelings, learn appropriate ways to express emotions and understand what is occurring in their families.
