Meetings and Programs

We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month (except Nov and Dec which are on the third Thursday). We have two meeting times, 10 am and 7 pm. We meet at the St John's Methodist Church, 1755 N Meridian, Oklahoma City, OK. Click here for a map to the church.

Each meeting includes time for Show and Share where members show off completed quilted items. What a great way to get new ideas, see what's hot, or get help on a project.

Also at every business meeting, at least one vendor will offer the latest in fabric and notions for your shopping convenience. What fun!!

At all business meetings, which is every month except December and May, the following committees set up tables. What a great way to learn more about our Guild and about the wonderful art of quilting!

Membership - All members and guests sign in when entering the meeting. This is how you are in the drawing for fabulous door prizes each month! (Some wonderful vendors donate Door prizes each month: Kudos to them!)

COQG Library - With over 800 books to choose from, and the ability to check out three each month, you can learn as much as possible about the different aspects of quilting!

Heritage - This is where you come to find out so many interesting things! They have a swatching project, so you can date your old quilts! They have books to check out, and some to buy!

Ways and Means - Need a permanent name badge or a new rotary blade? This is the place to buy any COQG related item!

President - Find out about and volunteer for the various activities going on in the Guild. There is also a bulletin board with general information of interest to the members.

Heartwarmers - Check out supplies for and turn in completed baby quilts. These are then donated to the Infant Crisis Service, Better Babies, and the Ronald McDonald House.

Quilt Show - This table is active during the months preceding a quilt show (odd years) and you can find out all sorts of information and purchase great items!
