Bring your own fabric or work with donated fabric to create kits for Honduran seamstresses who support their families with quilting and other fabric art

Belle Brunner (Seams Sew Me) - Cathedral Window
Belle showed us a fun, modern, easy way to make the Cathedral Window block without any of the fuss, curtaining, or pillowing method. Our quilters were surprised and delighted to realize they could complete this beautiful block - will turn into a 20 x 20 pillow or bag - during the 6-hour workshop!

Description: Construct a glorious wall hanging or table runner using Linda's FUSIQUE Reversible applique technique!
No Sewing Machine needed, just an ironing station. Participants can choose from the Emerald Isle Pattern (Bring your own fabric) or the Twinkle Star or Shazam (pictured) Kits!

Quilt Show Kickoff - Quilt Show Tips &Tricks
Description: Learn how to prepare your quilt for our 2027 show! This informal come-and-go event will include attaching Quilt Sleeves for display, Binding Tips and Tricks, Quilt show advice from past quilt show winners and current committee members, you name it!

Description: From Scott's newest book “Forever Fabulous Fat Quarter Quilts.” Aurora Sky features a unique flying geese unit that when mixed with snowball block and create fun twisting star! When blocks are sewn together you get a bonus pinwheel!

Samantha Krebsbach - Quilted Shoes
Description: We embarked on a journey of artistic expression and functional design as we were introduced to the fundamentals of quilted shoemaking, including cutting, sewing, and assembling shoe components. By the end of the day, we had the skills we needed to rock out on the town with our own custom quilted sneakers!.

Diane Harris (Stash Bandit) - Baby Windmills and Beyond
Description: We indulged in some serious scrap play as we learned to make Baby Windmills and then create something wonderful with them! Diane has been making these little blocks for years and keeps discovering new ways to use them. She showed us her examples and then help you create something unique. The class was stress-free because we just couldn't mess up!

Colleen Schaan - A Quilter's Color Wheel (Color Theory)
Description: This workshop paired with Colleen's lecture and delved deeper into color theory and the properties of color, the key to using neutrals effectively, how to work with solids, prints and patterns, the art of “reading” fabric color, and how to get out of your color comfort zone.
