FEBRUARY 2026

Colleen Schaan - A Quilter's Color Wheel (Color Theory)

Date: Friday February 27 - 9AM - 3PM

Description: Does the thought of choosing your own fabrics for a quilt project make your palms sweat? Does picking out coordinating colors make you weak in the knees? Does combining pattern and print make your head swirl?  Panic no more...

This workshop pairs with Colleen's lecture and delves deeper into color theory and the properties of color, the key to using neutrals effectively, how to work with solids, prints and patterns, the art of “reading” fabric color, and how to get out of your color comfort zone.
Bring scraps and small pieces of fabric from your stash so you can apply what you learned while curating a fabric collection and making your own unique color wheel block.
